I am the Amazon.
The largest rainforest in the world.
I send rain when you need it.
I keep your climate balanced.
My forests contain plants to cure your diseases.
Many of which you’ve yet to discover.
But you are stripping me bare.
Every second, you cut one of my trees.
You clog my rivers.
And set fire to my ground.
I can no longer protect the people that call me home.
The more you take, the less I have to offer.
Less water.
Less potential cures.
Less oxygen.
As I die so will you.
But I will grow back again.
